For four days every year, the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn become an antique-lovers paradise. Since 1982, the Elkhorn Flea has been one of the premier antique-ing events in Wisconsin. You will find over 500 vendors, collectors, and dealers selling pretty much anything you could imagine: furniture, clothes, vintage toys, records, pottery, glassware, lines, and so much more. People spend all day digging around the stalls to find that perfect treasure. If you go, we promise you’ll walk away with something special.
June 30th-July 4th 2018
Whitewater’s Fourth of July Celebration isn’t just about parades and fireworks, though you will certainly find those if you go. The festival is actually a fun-filled four day extravaganza complete with petting zoos, an open house at the Whitewater historical society, the annual Miss Whitewater Pageant, water ski shows, a vintage car & bike rally, and more. Every day also features live music, food vendors, and a beer tent. And of course, the festival closes with a massive firework demonstration over the lake. There isn’t another Fourth of July Festival quite like it.

The Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival happens every September at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. It is the second largest sheep festival in Wisconsin. Come to see shepherds & exhibitors from all over the Midwest showcase their sheep in the showring for a variety of different competitions. But the festival is about more than just cute sheep. There will also be classes, auctions, fiber arts demonstrations, and a big lamb dinner.
October 28th and 29th
This unique festival is the perfect way to explore the scenic beauty of Wisconsin in the autumn while also supporting a variety of local artists. The festival is actually a self-guided driving tour that takes you to artist’s studios in Cambridge, Jefferson, Johnson Creek, and Lake Mills. All sorts of artists take part in the festival, including painters, sculptors, jewelry makers, potters, woodworkers, and so much more. In between stops, you will get the chance to explore the beauty of rural Wisconsin and marvel at the changing fall colors.
2018 will mark the 14th annual Elkhorn Oktoberfest. For one day every October, Elkhorn transforms itself into Little Munich. There will be live music, dance performances, craft markets, a car show, games, food vendors, and of course, lots and lots of beer. Walk around the lively downtown square to explore over 100 crafters and vendors showcasing handcrafted items, antiques, produce and plants, home party consultants and more. To keep the kids occupied while you enjoy some beer, the festival provides plenty of activities, like games, pumpkin decorating, bounce houses, slides and more.
